TL;DR: The Beatles’ song titles offer simple advice for negative emotions:
- Sad? Sing, focus on self-compassion, and connect with others.

- Stressed? Breathe, remember things are temporary, and just “Let It Be.”
I came across this “Advice from the Beatles” Lexicon depicting some of their song titles which I think sums up so concisely and perfectly what to do when certain pesky negative emotions hit us.

So the Beatles were right. Picture water and your anger will be washed away. |
